Free Sudoku Puzzles
I just licensed a commerical version of Sudoku for Surfnetkids, but in the process of looking for a Sudoku applet, I found the following that are both free:
1) Dave Nixon of SudokuHints offers a very flexible free Sudoku applet here.
2) Here's one more from SudokuPuzz. It's not as versatile as the one fromSudokuHints, but you may as well look.
